BARDSI’s corporate image.
BARDSI responds to the contraction and addition of the initials of three cities that are especially important for the founders of the brand: Barcelona, Dublin and Singapore.
The company, dedicated to the design, manufacture and marketing of multipurpose bags for women, bases its products on sustainability, differentiation, high quality, structural innovation and a new approach to its uses. An exclusive and well thought-out product with high performance.
In an initial stage, the corporate image project considered different points of view that ranged from the product itself to the contexts, materials or innovation, although finally the geographical issue was the reason chosen to work on the core message of the brand, for all that it can mean within the brand; internationalization, globalization, resources, societies, habits….
The value of the brand falls fully on the typography and its structure, in this case the regular Raleway has been selected because it presents an exceptional reading, it is very elegant, modern and neutral enough to allow to stand out any extra element no matter how small it is. We also find it an architecturally magnificent and very beautiful typeface.
The “neutral” character of the typography has allowed us to propose some geometrical elements to emphasize and highlight the geolocation. Under each initial of each city we have placed an icon, a symbol. Three signal elements that allow us to finish the composition from the point of view of its structure and weights, but also providing meaning, dynamism and freshness.
The result is a clear, elegant and solvent brand, closely and intentionally linked to “the communicative trends” of the sector in which it will operate commercially and that even denotes a certain mystery due to the apparent asymmetric distribution of these small points.
Design is in the details and here we pretend to apply so. Subtle details in soft gestures that tells about a sophisticated company with products of equal magnitude.
A solution that will offer much possibilites to its compositions and animations, communicative aspects that today, in the digital age, are essential to bear in mind.
