Designing sneakers, although we could think it is something related to fashion in part, it is not a simply and superficial exercise of style. Not at all. And specially when the final users are going to be girl professional hockey players, taking in account other parameters could lead to a plus of performance.

The materials and their qualities, the structure and any aspect must be subject to -and endorsed- by a detailed anatomical study and analysis of the body based on the sport, the effort and the performance. For this reason, this commissioned project with such depth of information requires -as many others- the involucration of multidisciplinary teams, in this specific case; elite athletes, podiatrists and orthopedists as well as, of course, shoe manufacturers who had to contribute their experience and validation.

The result not only improves the support of feet and protects, through reinforced areas, the parts that suffer the most from the foot, but also the design has taken into account deterioration due to use (wear) and has included variations in its geometry that lengthen its life cycle. The sole is also studied for a better anchoring to the ground and to facilitate the race movement of the players. We have achieved beautiful shoes that improve the game, take care of the foot and that also last. An aspect that is not trivial when the price is high.
