Nonet lamp

The Nonet collection, designed for the lighting company Almalight, is a plea for simplicity and optimisation. As a result of an exhaustive analysis of the materials, their formats and their possible transformation processes its starting point is an 18 mm thick recycled PE sheet that is CNC machined into basic pieces that, combined with each other, generate a stable pedestal on which the glass sphere rests very smoothly, making the flatness of its origin disappear completely; everything is mysteriously hidden, being cleverly integrated into the pieces to form a compact whole that is easily recognizable.

Structurally, the base, which is resolved into two practically identical pieces of PE, is fixed by the steel shaft that comes across the pieces and that is also used as a support for the lamp holder and as a wiring pass. The shape of its perimeter is not arbitrary at all, but it is the result of solving both the seat of the sphere and the bottom legs, which, being integrated into the plastic body itself, take care of the surfaces avoiding scratches and marks.

Nonet is a very fresh and stylish collection that leaves no one indifferent. Designed to be timeless, it is possible to combine it in multiple environments and contexts, constantly reminding us, through its main material, of the vital importance of being respectful of the environment.

It is incredibly versatile, it is available in different finishes, sizes and typologies that offer an endless number of solutions in which the essence of its meaning is maintained.
